The new Vivid Audio G1 Giya loudspeaker
hails from South Africa and produced Standout sound with
Luxman electronics. Though prices for the speaker have been floating around, nothing has
been set in stone -- yet.

No, these are not the same Rockport speaker.
Left is the Ankaa ($26,500 per pair) and right is the Aquila ($44,500 per pair). These two
new massively built speakers from Andy Payor have 10" and 13" woofers and
5"- and 6"-thick baffles respectively.

Sherwoods $1800 R-975
receiver has all of the features that you would expect to find in a state-of-the-art
receiver, including Silicon Optix HQV video processing. It also has the Trinnov Optimizer
digital room correction system that was previously available only in Trinnovs
$13,000 standalone unit (Trinnov is a pro-based company). The acoustic probe measures the
signal in three dimensions and then processes the information so that the resulting
soundfield conforms to the standard ITU 5.1-channel speaker layout in addition to
correcting for frequency response, phase and group delay.

The Mark Levinson No. 502 Media
Console is a reference audio/video processor that will retail for around $30,000. It is
said to have an ultra-low noise floor of -140dB and dual Gennum VXP 10-bit video
processors with a processing power of 1.6 gigaflops.
