The new Vivid Audio G1 Giya loudspeaker hails from South Africa and produced Standout sound with Luxman electronics. Though prices for the speaker have been floating around, nothing has been set in stone -- yet.

No, these are not the same Rockport speaker. Left is the Ankaa ($26,500 per pair) and right is the Aquila ($44,500 per pair). These two new massively built speakers from Andy Payor have 10" and 13" woofers and 5"- and 6"-thick baffles respectively.

Sherwood’s $1800 R-975 receiver has all of the features that you would expect to find in a state-of-the-art receiver, including Silicon Optix HQV video processing. It also has the Trinnov Optimizer digital room correction system that was previously available only in Trinnov’s $13,000 standalone unit (Trinnov is a pro-based company). The acoustic probe measures the signal in three dimensions and then processes the information so that the resulting soundfield conforms to the standard ITU 5.1-channel speaker layout in addition to correcting for frequency response, phase and group delay.

The Mark Levinson No. 502 Media Console is a reference audio/video processor that will retail for around $30,000. It is said to have an ultra-low noise floor of -140dB and dual Gennum VXP 10-bit video processors with a processing power of 1.6 gigaflops.
